I was... but not any longer! Hello my name is Troy Vincent and I have been hunting, fishing, and smoking game in the great state of Alaska since 1988. But maybe, like you, I have had some trials trying to keep my batches of smoked salmon consistent season after season. To say this style of grill is amazing is... well... the right thing to say. This is one of the easiest grills to set up and use. Load the pellets, lay out the fish, turn it on and walk away. Seriously, break out the DVD's because constant watching, adjusting and worrying are not how these grills works. But wait there's more, and not talking steak knifes, the consistency in your batch after batch is amazing. Game meats turn out fantastic; beef, well let’s just say you should be prepared for blue ribbon Brisket. Smoked Pizza?!?! You bet, time to make a great food even better. My wife even made chocolate ship cookies on it!

I know what you are thinking, they get you with the wood pellets. No, not really. Bags of pellets generally last through…. times cooking (depending on temperatures used). You won’t be going to the store to get charcoal briquettes anymore, or to the station to get stinky propane. Really, if you’re spending big bucks on hunting/fishing equipment and trips, do you really want to not prepare it the best way possible? See it’s not about the pellets, it’s about consistently well smoked salmon and mouth watering Brisket!
